Spartans Earn NCAA National Championship Berth

The Michigan State rowing program has earned a berth in the NCAA National Championship Regatta, which will be held May 25-27 in on Lake Mercer in West Windsor, NJ. The 16-team field was announced by the NCAA Selection Committee on Tuesday afternoon, and the Spartans will be rowing in the sport's National Championship event for the 14th time in its 15 varsity seasons.

Spartans Fourth at Big Tens

It was a tough day for the Michigan State rowing team at the 2012 Big Ten Championships, as the varsity eight lost out on a medal by a bowball and the team finished in fourth place overall.

Spartans Ready for Big Ten Championships

Michigan State travels to Indianapolis, Indiana for the Big Ten Rowing Championships. The Championships will be contested at the Indianapolis Rowing Center at Eagle Creek Park for the second straight season.

Rowers Split at Stanford, lose to No. 5 USC

In its final dual races of the season, the 14th-ranked MSU rowers took two of three races from host and No. 11 Stanford in the morning session, and had some tight races with Southern California before losing all three races to the No. 5 Women of Troy in the afternoon session.
