2016 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, earned with a 3.7 grade point average In the 2015-16 academic year ... Academic All-Big Ten selection ... Six seat in the varsity eight in each of the squad's spring races ... Had a strong performance at the Oak Ridge Invitational (3/12-13) in the varsity eight, winning it's Saturday morning race by open water (6:28.48) over Oklahoma, Kansas and Alabama ... In the afternoon session at Oak Ridge finished third behind No. 4 Virginia (6:07.85), and Notre Dame (6:11.37), posting a time of 6:13.08. In the Sunday morning session, outpaced Big Ten foe Minnesota by a full length (6:37.90) -- the fourth-best time of any varsity eight on the lake on Sunday morning - and more than two lengths ahead of both Central Florida and West Virginia ... In the varsity eight, finished third behind No. 3 Virginia and No. 7 Michigan, (6:37.7), in the first session of the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual in Columbus (4/2) but was ahead of Clemson in the second session by more than two lengths of open water (6:45.9), and had contact with winner Michigan at the finish line ... Split action at the Big Ten Double Dual in Princeton, NJ (4/9) in the varsity eight, downing Rutgers by more than 26 seconds before falling to No. 3 Ohio State by six seats ... At the Clemson Invitational (4/16-17) raced in the varsity eight and had a fourth-place finish in the morning session, behind UCLA in second (6:48.2) and Louisville edging MSU by a second for third place (6:51.5 - 6:52.6). In the second session at Clemson, had a tall task against No. 3 Ohio State, No 4. Virginia, and No. 8 Texas, finishing fifth behind San Diego (6:32.50) ... Finished third to No. 3 Ohio State and No 16. Syracuse (4/24) in a three-boat varsity eight race in Columbus, clocked in a time of 6:25.2 ... Racing in Ann Arbor (4/30), took second behind the Wolverines in a time of 6:21.47, six seats ahead of (RV) Louisville in the varsity eight ... In the varsity eight race at the Big Ten Championships (5/15), rowed to a seventh-place finish (6:42.309), less than a second behind sixth-place Minnesota ...
Fall 2015 Six seat for MSU's entry at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge, Mass. and finished 10th in the women's championship eights. Completed the 4,800-meter course in a time of 16:53.764, less than half a second behind ninth-place Iowa. MSU finished 14 spots ahead of its pre-HOCR seeding (24th). 2015 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten Honoree ... Rowed the entire season in MSU's varsity eight ... Clocked a weekend-best 6:01.206 in the final set of varsity eight races at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational (3/14-15) vs. Kansas, Tennessee, and Alabama ... Was within six seats of both UCF and Oklahoma in the first V8 races at Oak Ridge, clocked in a time of 6:06.431 ... Fell to both Louisville and Notre Dame in a double dual at Ohio State (3/28) ... Dropped a pair of dual races to Big Ten foes Iowa (6:47.2-6:56.03) and Indiana (6:23.8-6:42.9) stroking the varsity eight in a Big Ten double dual at Michigan (4/11) ... As the stroke of the varsity eight, the Spartans had a rough go at the Clemson Invitational (4/18-19), finishing sixth, seventh, and seventh on Lake Hartwell in a regatta featuring 10 teams from the CRCA Top 25 ... Finished behind eventual National Champion Ohio State, NCAA qualifier Michigan, and Syracuse in the two seat at a quad in Columbus, with a time of 6:45.7 ... Was behind both Wisconsin (6:55.3541) and Minnesota (7:03.971) with a time of 7:11.529 in a Big Ten race in Baraboo, Wisconsin (5/2) ... Won the Petite Final at the Big Ten Championships in the five seat (5/17), finishing with five lengths of open water ahead of Rutgers (7:05.305-7:32.583) ... Missed a spot in the Big Ten Grand final by under two-tenths of a second, behind third-place Iowa in the Big Ten semifinal heat (6:54.239-6:55.910) (5/16).
2014: Defeated Duke by eight seconds in the varsity eight race at Virginia (4/26)... Finished a half-length behind No. 12 Washington State and a full length ahead of No. 18 Syracuse at the Clemson Invitational (4/19)... Member of the second varsity eight which defeated Rutgers by 30 seconds (3/28)... Had open water over Kansas at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational (3/15).
