2005-06: Member of the first varsity eight that finished sixth at the NCAA Championship in a time of 6:51.22 ... Rowed in seven seat of the varsity at the South/Central Regional Championship, placing first in the "B" final with a time of 6:34.9 ... Contributed to the fourth-place finish of the varsity eight in the grand final of the Big Ten Championships going, from start to finish in 6:52.4.

2004-05: Joined second varsity eight crew in the four seat going into the Big Ten championship ... Contributed to fifth-place national finish at NCAA Championship, finishing behind Ohio State (6:40.69) by less than one-tenth of a second ... Rowed in the four seat at the South/Central Sprints to a third-place finish in the 'A' final ... As the four seat, helped second varsity eight finish second in Big Ten grand final with a time of 6:29.46.

Prior to MSU: Attended Tecumseh High School ... Participated in swimming and track and field during her high school career ... Was elected captain of her swim team in 2004 ... A member of the National French Honors Society.

Personal: Born Mar. 30, 1986 ... Daughter of Marc and Betsy Brown ... A History major ... Sister Christen was also a member of the MSU crew team.
