2016: Coxswain of the second varsity eight throughout the spring season ... In the second varsity eight at the Oak Ridge Invitational (3/12-13), posted a third-place finish in its first race (6:41.80), about three seats behind second-place Kansas. The margin for MSU in the afternoon session remained at about three seats behind Kansas in a time of 6:32.64, but both crews were open water behind Virginia and Notre Dame. Finished second behind B1G foe Minnesota in the final race at Oak Ridge (6:59.707) ...Finished third behind No. 3 Virginia and No. 7 Michigan, (6:37.7), in the 2V8 at the morning session of the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual in Columbus (4/2) in a time of 7:10.9, and also fell to Clemson in the afternoon session (7:20.5) by 15 seconds ... Split action at the Big Ten Double Dual in Princeton, NJ (4/9) in the second varsity eight, defeating host Rutgers by open water in the morning (7:24.0) but falling to Ohio State in the afternoon (8:09.4) ... At the Clemson Invitational (4/16-17), raced in the 2V8 and took fifth place (7:15.9), less than a length out of fourth in the Saturday morning session, and then was sixth behind several ranked crews in a stacked Saturday evening race ... Finished third to No. 3 Ohio State and No 16. Syracuse (4/24) in a three-boat second varsity eight race in Columbus, clocked in a time of 6:45.5 ...
