Took a fifth place finish at the Big Ten Championships with the second varsity eight in a time of 6:47.922... Defeated Louisville by 13.4 seconds and Iowa by 8.8 seconds (April 7)... Rowed with the second varsity eight at the UVA Invitational (April 14-15) where the Spartans edged No. 19 Minnesota by 1.8 seconds and defeated No. 18 Clemson by 6.3 seconds.
