Finished fourth in a time of 8:20.9 ... Lined up with some of the best crews in the country at the Clemson Invitational (April 20-21). Rowed in the stroke seat of the varsity four on Saturday morning, finishing fifth (7:39.2) behind winner Penn (7:34.0). On Saturday afternoon and Sunday, moved to the three seat in the same boat; posted a race victory in a time of 7:21.2, the sixth-fastest time overall from the three heats on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, the V4 finished fifth in its heat ((7:19.3), as Louisville had a length lead on Cornell at the finish ... In the three seat of the varsity four, fell to UVA's two fours in the morning session at Virginia with Duke (April 27), but significantly reduced the margin when the falling to the Blue Devils by six seats (7:54.9) in the afternoon session ... Raced Big Ten foes Minnesota and Wisconsin in the final week of the regular season (May 5), and rowed to a second-place finish (7:42.7) as the two seat in the varsity four. Finished by three lengths of open water ahead of Minnesota but behind host Wisconsin ... Rowed in the stroke seat in the second varsity eight at the Big Ten Championships (May 19), finishing fifth in a time of 6:55.784. The Spartans finished fourth in the team standings with 85 points, behind champion Ohio State, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
2012: Rowed in the second varsity eight at the NCAA Championships as part of the group that finished third in the third-level final in a time of 6:49.00... Took a fifth place finish at the Big Ten Championships with the second varsity eight in a time of 6:47.922... Academic All-Big Ten...On April 7 in Iowa City, defeated Louisville by 13.4 seconds and Iowa by 8.8 seconds... Rowed with the second varsity eight at the UVA Invitational (April 14-15) where the Spartans edged No. 19 Minnesota by 1.8 seconds and defeated No. 18 Clemson by 6.3 seconds
2011:Rowed with both the varsity four and second varsity eight... Recognized as a CRCA Scholar Athlete... Took a second place finish with the 2V8 in the Petite Finals of the NCAA Regatta with a time of 6:37.28, a 00:00.15 margin over Princeton ... Rowed with the second varsity eight at the Big Ten Championships where the Spartans came in fifth place with a time of 6:34.71... Recorded a sweep over Boston University, Gonzaga and Indiana including a margin of 15.8 seconds over Gonzaga and 4.1 seconds against Indiana to capture the Dale England Cup with the varsity four.. Posted a Big Ten win over Minnesota in the Spartans' only home race of the season... Swept Virginia, USC and Texas with winning margins of 5.6 seconds, 6.4 seconds and 4.5 seconds... Defeated both Ohio State and Washington State with the second varsity eight.
2010: A member of the novice eight boat... Completed a sweep over Buffalo and Gonzaga by a margin of 7.9 seconds... Recorded a close victory of 1.1 seconds over Ohio State with the novice eight ... Notched a victory over Cornell... Claimed victories over both Michigan and Ohio State by differences of 1.85 seconds and 8.66 seconds... Rowed to a third place finish in the Big Ten Championships with a time of 6:53.37... Time of 7:00.52 was good for a fifth place finish in the 2010 South/ Central Sprints.
