2011: Saw action in a novice four race and a second novice four race against Michigan where the Spartans won by margins of 7.57 seconds and 7.21 seconds.... Competed with second novice eight. Prior to MSU: Lettered in both track and cheerleading in high school... Set a school record in the pole vault her senior year where she took sixth-place both in regionals and in the West Michigan All-Star meet... In competitive cheerleading, her team came in first place in the conference her senior year... Competed in Nationals and the Empire State Games in the ice luge in 2005. Personal:Born January 24, 1992... Daughter of Tom and Ramona Opperman... Brother, Conrad, competed in track and football at Alma College... A member of the James Madison College. |
