Recorded a sweep over Gonzaga, Boston College and Indiana to capture the Dale England Cup... Defeated Minnesota by a margin of 15.6 seconds in the Spartans' only home race. 2010: Spent most of her time in the second novice eight boat... Rowed to a third place finish with the second novice eight in the Big Ten Championships with a time of 7:12.13... Edged Cornell by three seconds... Recorded a close victory of 1.1 seconds over Ohio State with the novice eight. Prior to MSU: Was honored as Academic All-League in Swimming in 2008 and 2009... Earned varsity letters in swimming and lacrosse all four years of high school... Won the State Championships in lacrosse her sophomore year... Was a runner-up in the State Championships her freshman and senior years... Valedictorian of her senior class. Personal: Born August 1, 1991... Twin sister, Elizabeth, swims for Saint Mary's Notre Dame... Psychology major. |
