2013: Academic All-Big Ten Selection ... Rowed in the two seat of the second varsity four, which opened the season (March 30) with a two-seat loss to Michigan, but rebounded in the afternoon session with an open-water victory over Notre Dame in 8:26.50 ... Rowed in the three seat of the varsity four in a four-boat race with Big Ten foes Michigan, Ohio State, and Indiana (April 13) when conditions forced a change from a double-dual format. Finished fourth in a time of 8:20.9 ... Lined up with some of the best crews in the country at the Clemson Invitational (April 20-21). Rowed in the three seat of the varsity four on Saturday morning, finishing fifth (7:39.2) behind winner Penn (7:34.0). On Saturday afternoon and Sunday, moved to the stroke seat in the same boat; posted a race victory in a time of 7:21.2, the sixth-fastest time overall from the three heats on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, the V4 finished fifth in its heat (7:19.3), as Louisville had a length lead on Cornell at the finish ... In the stroke seat of the varsity four, fell to UVA's two fours in the morning session at Virginia with Duke (April 27), but significantly reduced the margin when the falling to the Blue Devils by six seats (7:54.9) in the afternoon session ... Raced Big Ten foes Minnesota and Wisconsin in the final week of the regular season (May 5), and rowed to a second-place finish (7:42.7) as the stroke seat in the varsity four. Finished by three lengths of open water ahead of Minnesota but behind host Wisconsin ... Rowed in the three seat in the second varsity eight at the Big Ten Championships (May 19), finishing fifth in a time of 6:55.784. The Spartans finished fourth in the team standings with 85 points, behind champion Ohio State, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
2012: Rowed with the second varsity four at the Big Ten Championships, placing fifth in a time of 7:37.489... Defeated Louisville by 30.1 seconds and Iowa by 19 seconds (April 7)... Notched victories over No. 18 Clemson and No. 19 Minnesota as part of the second varsity four at the UVA Invitational (April 14-15) ...Spare at the 2013 NCAA Championships
2011:Saw all of her action in the second varsity four boat... Recorded a sweep over Gonzaga, Boston College and Indiana to capture the Dale England Cup... Defeated Minnesota by a margin of 15.6 seconds in the Spartans' only home race.
2010: Spent most of her time in the second novice eight boat... Rowed to a third place finish with the second novice eight in the Big Ten Championships with a time of 7:12.13... Edged Cornell by three seconds... Recorded a close victory of 1.1 seconds over Ohio State with the novice eight.
Prior to MSU: Was honored as Academic All-League in Swimming in 2008 and 2009... Earned varsity letters in swimming and lacrosse all four years of high school... Won the State Championships in lacrosse her sophomore year... Was a runner-up in the State Championships her freshman and senior years... Valedictorian of her senior class.
Personal: Born August 1, 1991... Twin sister, Elizabeth, swims for Saint Mary's Notre Dame... Psychology major.
