Varsity Eight Crew Takes Second
Women make final at Midwest Sprints.

MADISON, Wisc.-- The Michigan State women's crew varsity 8 has made it to the finals in the Midwest Sprints competition in Madison, Wisc. On Saturday, MSU took an impressive second-place with 6:43.41.
It was arch-rival Michigan taking first in 6:35.214 and Ohio State claiming third with 6:44.51. Home-crowd favorite Wisconsin had a discouraging finish ending their 26-year run in fourth place with 6:52.46.
Crew action continues with today's competition, results following later this evening.
