Novice Crew Takes 17th, 24th at Belly of the Carnegie
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State's novice crew finished out the fall racing season at the Belly of the Carnegie in Princeton, N.J., racing a pair of boats in one of the nation's top fall competitions.
Two Spartan boats raced in the eight-person event, with Michigan State coming in 17th and 24th among 35 boats entered. Virginia finished first.
The MSU varsity crew had wrapped up its fall season last weekend at the varsity version of the same event, the Princeton Chase.
