Spartans Earn CRCA Scholar Athlete Awards
A total of nine Spartans were named a CRCA scholar athlete.
EAST LANSING, Mich.--The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) has announced their Division I scholar athlete awards for the 2017 season. In total, nine Spartans earned the award.
All CRCA National Scholar Athletes must have maintained a 3.5 GPA throughout her career while being at least sophomore academic standing, and they must have rowed in the NCAA-eligible boats (varsity eight, second varsity eight, or varsity four) for at least 75 percent of the season.
The nine student-athletes to earn the award for Michigan State also earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.
