Kristen Henn: Big Ten Medal of Honor Winner

Kristen Henn's athletic prowess, academic reach and interpersonal impact have earned her elite status as a sportswoman and scholar. On Friday, she was named MSU's female recipient of the Big Ten Medal of Honor, which for 100 years has been a celebration of the student-athlete experience on conference campuses and a predictor of remarkable post-collegiate performance and achievement in sports and beyond.


Four Spartans Selected for US Field Hockey National...

Michigan State senior field hockey players Allie Ahern, Abby Barker, and Becky Stiles have been recognized as some of the top field hockey athletes in the country and were selected to compete in the US Women's National Field Hockey Championship. In addition, sophomore Kristen Matula has also been selected to play in the U21 National Championship.


Field Hockey Releases 2014 Schedule

Michigan State field hockey coach Helen Knull has announced the Spartan field hockey schedule for the upcoming season, with a number of challenging opponents on the slate. MSU will face four 2013 NCAA Tournament teams, including two of the four participants from last year's Final Four weekend (Maryland and runner-up Duke). The Spartans will face nine teams in their 18-game schedule that ended the 2013 season...


Field Hockey to Host "Under the Lights Clinics"

Michigan State field hockey will host the "Under the Lights Clinics" this summer, giving boys and girls ages 12-18 the chance to learn from NFHCA West Region Coach of the Year Helen Knull and the rest of the MSU coaching staff.


Field Hockey Honored at Team Banquet

The Michigan State field hockey program held its annual end-of-the-year banquet on Saturday, April 5 to celebrate the 2013 season. Members of the team were recognized for their accomplishments both on the field and in the classroom.
