Meet the Spartans: Allie Ahern

2014: Started 17 of the team's 19 games... Second on the team in goals (8) and points (20)... Recorded multi-goal games against Richmond (9/14) and Ohio State (9/19)... Scored the game-winning goal vs. Maine (8/31) and Richmond (9/14)... Her 75 shots were the sixth most in the Big Ten... Recorded both a goal and an assist vs. Maine (8/31) and Monmouth (10/4)... MSU was 6-0 when Ahern recorded a goal.

2013: Academic All-Big Ten... Tied for fifth in the Big Ten in points with 30... Her 13 goals tied for the fourth-most in the Big Ten... Scored five game-winning goals... Recorded her first career hat trick against Pacific (9/1)... Scored two goals, including the game-winning goal in the play-in game of the NCAA Tournament against Miami (11/13).

2012: One of five Spartans to start in all 20 games...Scored a career-high of five goals ...Recorded two assists on the year in games against Indiana (9/28) and Kent State (10/14)...Tallied 34 shots for the season with 20 being on goal... Scored a goal in her first game in the Green and White against California (8/27)... Notched points in back-to-back games against Boston University (9/4) and No. 7 Virginia (9/10)... Tallied a goal at Boston University (9/4)... Recorded an assist on Adelle Lever's goal in MSU's 3-0 win over Virginia (9/10)... Scored against New Hampshire (10/2)... Netted a goal and the game-winning penalty stroke in the Spartans' 2-1 shootout victory over Ohio State (10/14)... Prior to MSU: Named First Team All-State in field hockey her sophomore and junior seasons... was a New York State Champion in field hockey as a freshman and senior... Was a State Championship runner-up in field hockey as a sophomore and a regional champion as a junior... Selected to the Second Team Field Hockey All-American squad her junior year... Named to the First Team All-Western NY and All NYS Tournament team in field hockey both her sophomore and junior years... Was First Team All-ECIC Field Hockey her freshman through junior season... Named her high school's team MVP her sophomore and junior season... A member of the Futures Junior High Performance team and selected to play in the Futures National Championship with the New York State team...Member of the Knuckleheads Field Hockey Team... Participated in the National USA Field Hockey Tournament in Indio, CA where she came in first place in 2007... Selected as captain of her field hockey team as a junior and senior and of her lacrosse team as a junior... Team MVP in lacrosse her sophomore and junior seasons...
