Stiles comes to MSU after serving as an assistant coach for the Indiana field hockey program for one season. Prior to her time with the Hoosiers, the former Spartan served as a volunteer coach for the Spirit of USA Field Hockey Club which is located in South Jersey.
Stiles, who was very involved with USA Field Hockey, continued at the junior national level. She entered the system during her prep years and continued through the High Performance system until she received a selection to the U-21 Women's National Team in 2012. Stiles played with Team USA in the 2012 Junior Pan American Games and helped the squad qualify for the Junior World Cup.
As a Big Ten field hockey player for the Spartans, Stiles was exceptional. She was a three-time NFHCA All-West Region selection and an All-Big Ten honoree as a junior and senior. She made 77 starts in her four-year career, scoring six goals with 10 assists from the midfield. As a senior, Stiles led Michigan State on and off the turf as team captain, earning the Big Ten's Sportsmanship Award in the process.
Stiles collected two Academic All-Big Ten honors and made the Dean's List as an Economics student at Michigan State University. She graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and entered an internship with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia as a risk analyst. She continued her career with the Federal Reserve upon completion of the internship.
