2011: Competed in 17 games in her debut season for the Spartans, starting 12... Notched her first goal of her career at Miami in MSU's 2-1 win (9/11)

Prior to MSU: A member of the New Jersey Future's Elite program...Named to the First Team-Conference, First Team All-County, First Team All-Area, and Second Team All-State her junior and senior seasons...Honored as the Offensive Player of the Game in the county championships in 2010...First Team North Jersey in 2009, and second team in 2010...Helped lead her team to a state championship her junior season ...A three-year letter winner in field hockey and lacrosse...First Team All-Conference in lacrosse...Captained her high school team as a senior

Personal: Born on October 4, 1993...Daughter of Russell and Suzanne Helwig...Father played golf at the University of Miami, and has been a PGA Pro since 1970...Sister, Meghan, was a field hockey goalie at Villanova...Sister, Rebecca, played field hockey at Connecticut... Sister, Elizabeth, was a swimmer at Lafayette College...Plans to be a Pre-dental major.
