Meet the Spartans: Becky Stiles

2011: One of five Spartans to play in and start all 20 games... Made the U21 National Field Hockey team and traveled to compete in London... Scored one goal and tallied three assists in her debut season... Assisted on Elizabeth Helffrich's goal in MSU's 3-0 win over No. 7 Virginia (9/10)... Scored the overtime game-winning goal in MSU's 2-1 victory over Kent State (9/25)... Recorded an assist on Abby Barker's goal against New Hampshire (10/2)... Assisted on Katherine Jamieson's goal at Penn State (10/30)


Prior to MSU: A First Team NFHCA High School All-America in 2010...Second Team NFHCA High School All-America in 2009...Was an NFHCA High School Regional All-America both her junior and senior years...Named both the Burlington County Times Player of the Year and the Courier Post Player of the Year for 2010...Named the Field Hockey Club of South Jersey Midfielder of the Year in 2010...A member of the New Jersey First Team All-State, New Jersey First Team Group 4 and First Team All South Jersey her senior year...Named to the Second Team All South Jersey her sophomore and junior campaigns ...Helped her team capture four conference championships and two Central New Jersey Group State Championships...A Member of the Women's Senior High Performance team, Olympic Development Select, and Futures Elite...Attended the Junior National Camp and National Futures Tournament...Served as team captain her senior season ...Was her high school's leading scorer her junior and senior years...
