EAST LANSING, Mich.- - The Michigan State field hockey team will feature a student-athlete every week this spring in attempt to "Meet the Spartans". This week red shirt freshman Elizabeth Helffrich (Cleveland, Ohio) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions about her ambitions to be a veterinarian and her favorite food. Helffrich saw action in 10 games at forward and notched her first collegiate goal against Boston University.

Pets: my loving little Chihuahua Reilly, three other dogs and some cats

Siblings: Two younger sisters, Annie and Jane, and two older brothers, Cameron and Cory

What do you want to be when you grow up: Veterinarian

Why you came to school at MSU: For the spectacular field hockey program and the vet school
