EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State field hockey team will feature a student-athlete every week this spring in attempt to "Meet the Spartans". This week sophomore Jessica Lindner (Louisville, Ky.) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions about her favorite memories from this past season and why she chose to come to MSU. Lindner scored three goals and tallied one assist in 2010, including scoring twice against Pacific. She was named a member of the 2010 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad and was a 2010 Academic All-Big Ten honoree.

Best thing about being at MSU: MSU is such a big school with such a beautiful campus

Favorite class: Biology

Favorite food: Anything that is seafood

Favorite restaurant: Maru in East Lansing and Seviche in Louisville

Special talents: I am a second degree black belt

Famous relatives: Ulysses S Grant is my ancestor

Pets: Two cats named Callie and Tiger and a betta Fish named Squishy

Siblings: One older brother who goes to University of Michigan

What do you want to be when you grow up: Doctor, preferably a plastic surgery

The most exotic place you have traveled to: Aruba

Dream vacation spot: Greece

Why did you pick MSU: I loved the team, the coaching staff, and the fact that it was such a big college.

Favorite thing to do besides play field hockey: Hang out with friends

If you were not playing field hockey, what other sport would you be involved with: Lacrosse

Anything else you want the world to know about you: I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah

Favorite spot on campus: The locker room

Favorite pro sport & team: NHL, The Red Wings

Favorite game played at MSU: All the games we played in California because it was such a fun trip full of a lot of great memories

Pre-game ritual: I have to straighten my hair and listen to Like a G6

Funny memory of a team mate or team trip: Having insane dance parties in the locker room
