EAST LANSING, Mich. - Over the past season, the Michigan State field hockey team featured a student-athlete every week in attempt to "Meet the Spartans". It is now time to get to the now the Spartan Staff and to learn about their roles in preparing the team and about some of their favorite field hockey memories. Equipment Manger Juan Moreno sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions about his involvement with the MSU field hockey team.

A little bit about Juan: I am from Palmview, Texas. I went to the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and have been working in the Equipment Department at Michigan State for two years.

What is the best thing about working at MSU and with MSU athletes? Best thing about working at MSU is the family environment setting. Best thing about working with MSU athletes is watching them grow as individuals on and off the court.

What is your best memory with the MSU field hockey team? Just how nice and polite everyone on the team is (including coaches).

Who do you remember as the hardest working/toughest MSUFH player? No question, Molly Cassidy. Being a goalie is no easy task in my eyes and she does a great job day in and day out.

Does anything surprise you at a workout session? Meaning, are there new things that happen? Just how tough the girls are overall; sometimes they are a bit intimidating.

What is your funniest memory with the MSUFH team? Always having to teach at least two to three girls for a month straight how to open their laundry lockers because, they can never seem to figure it out.

What is your favorite movie and TV show? Grumpy Old Men and Mike and Molly

Who is your favorite athlete and why? Price Fielder because he single handedly changes the outcome of the game with a swing of his bat.

Where would you like to be in 5 years? Still working at MSU

What is your favorite place on campus? Spartan Stadium
