EAST LANSING, Mich. - After twenty minutes of scoreless play, the Michigan State field hockey team's exhibition match against Michigan was postponed due to inclement weather. The Spartans and the Wolverines have rescheduled the preseason scrimmage for Tuesday, Aug. 23rd at 2 p.m. in Ann Arbor. The exhibition match will be the final tuneup for both of the squads before they begin season play next weekend.

The Spartans face their first nonconference opponent when they open up their season at Louisville against California on Aug. 27th at 6 p.m. On Aug. 28th, the Spartans match up with host Louisville at 6 p.m.
