Cassidy and Henn Selected to Play in Front Rush/NFHCA Division I Senior Game

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State field hockey players Molly Cassidy and Kristen Henn were selected to play in this year's Front Rush / NFHCA Division I Senior Game. The game will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex in Virginia Beach, VA. Game time is 2:15 p.m
Captain Kristen Henn has started in all 17 games for the Spartans this year. Henn is the third leading scorer on the team with four goals and has added two assists. The three-time captain has been a crucial part of the Spartan defense and a consistent factor in the lineup all season.
Goalkeeper Molly Cassidy currently ranks second in the Big Ten with 70 saves while allowing 1.98 goals per game. Cassidy has recorded two shutouts on the year and played a large part in two team shutouts.
"I think that playing in the Senior All Star game is a wonderful way to conclude a player's career," said head coach Helen Knull. "Kristen and Molly will get a chance to play with opponents and friends from many other institutions and I know they will represent MSU with great pride."
Michigan State closes out the regular season on the road against No. 18 Iowa this Saturday at 2 p.m.
