Today's semifinals will be played at noon and 2 p.m. and will be televised by the Big Ten Network. Saturday's championship game will be covered by CSTV and is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
No. 2 seed Michigan State dominated the opening game of the Big Ten Tournament with a convincing win over the No. 7 seed Northwestern Wildcats on Thursday morning. MSU jumped out to a 1-0 lead early and never looked back, defeating the Wildcats 4-1.
Six different players scored goals for Iowa, as it defeated Indiana, 8-2, on Thursday. The Hawkeyes' eight goals tied a Big Ten Tournament single-game record, set by Penn State in 2000.
MSU is 1-5 all-time against the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Big Ten Tournament. The Spartans have lost by one goal in three of the last five games, with two games going into overtime - including one double overtime contest. MSU and Iowa last met in the Tournament in 2004, when Iowa defeated Michigan State 1-0 (OT).

MSU and Iowa met on Oct. 27, in the last regular-season Big Ten game. With Big Ten Tournament seeding on the line, Michigan State, defeated the Hawkeyes 1-0, and earned the No. 2 seed in the Big Ten Tournament.

Hawkeye goalkeeper Elissa Munley has started all 18 games and recorded a 14-2 record. She has posted a 1.20 goals against average and a .686 save percentage.

Sophomore Jeamie Deacon leads the Spartans on offense scoring 32 points on the year, scoring 12 goals, and recording eight assists.
