Meet the Spartans: Rachel Roberts

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State field hockey team will feature a freshman student-athlete every week this fall in attempt to "Meet the Spartans". This week freshman Rachel Roberts (Brussels, Belgium) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions about majoring in criminal justice and her experience so far at MSU. Name: Rachel Roberts Year in School: Freshman Hometown: Belgium Major: Criminal Justice Jersey Number: 8 Best thing about being at MSU: The field hockey program and the criminal justice program Favorite class: Intro to Criminal Justice Favorite movie: Pearl Harbor Favorite food: Mac and Cheese Favorite restaurant: Café la Foret (In Belgium) Pets: I have always wanted a dog, but I have never had a pet. Siblings: Two Sisters, Hannah who is 20 and Philippa who is 16. What do you want to be when you grow up: I have no idea. I will just see what happens. Where is the most exotic place you have traveled to: Florence, Italy Dream vacation spot: Australia Favorite musician or band: The Fray What song gets you pumped up before a game: I don't really have a song, but I love our warm up CD. Why did you pick MSU: I really like the field hockey team here, and the campus is really nice. The criminal justice program is also really good. Favorite TV show: Friends, it's a classic. Favorite celebrity: I don't really have one Favorite thing to do besides play field hockey: I love to play tennis.
