Field Hockey Adds Four for 2018 Season
Head coach Helen Knull has announced that MSU will welcome four freshmen to the 2018 roster.
EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan State field hockey program has announced that it will welcome four incoming freshmen to the roster for the 2018 season. Paige Ryan (Pittsburgh, Pa.), Lori Mack (Shaker Heights, Ohio), Monique Jardell (Columbus, Ohio), and Madeline McDonough (Kennett Square, Pa.) will enroll at Michigan State University next fall to play field hockey for the Spartans.
“We are pleased to welcome Mo, Paige, Lori and Maddie to Michigan State,” said head coach Helen Knull. “They are a talented group who have shown a great deal of growth and maturity in their last two seasons of high school, and we are excited for their transition to the college game and teaching them the Spartan way.”

Named the Chapel Field Hockey Forward of the Year in 2014, 2015 and 2016…All-Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (WPIAL) 2015 and 2016…Earned All-Section honors in 2014, 2015, and 2016…2016 Honorable Mention All-State…Played club hockey for the WC Eagles…Placed seventh in the United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association (USASA) National Snowboarding Competition in 2015…Played varsity lacrosse in 2015 and 2016…Scholar athlete award winner in 2015, 2016 and 2017…Awarded the Certificate of Distinction for Social Studies in 2016…Cumulative High Honor Award.
