When did you first start playing golf?
I first started swinging the club when I was about four or five years old. I actually started playing in tournaments when I was six or seven.

What course did you learn to play on?
I grew up on Noble Hawk Golf Links, which is my town's local course. My family moved there when I was little and it was very convenient for me because it was only two or three minutes walk to the course.

Favorite golf memory?
One of my favorite memories would have to be from when I was 12 years old. I had qualified for the US Kids World Golf Championships in Pinehurst, N.C., and I had played as well as I had ever done in that tournament. I finished seventh out of a pretty big field and I found out at the awards ceremony that I had qualified for the World Cup Team Championship. It was an 18-hole match play event, USA vs. Europe on one of the most famous courses in America: Pinehurst No. 2. I didn't win my match, but I still got to play on this awesome course with my dad as my caddy. This was one of the coolest things that has ever happened to me and I will never forget it!

Best thing about playing golf at MSU is...
I'm most looking forward to getting to know my teammates and coaches better and also creating memories and meeting people that I will never forget.

Favorite movie?
I am a big fan of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit series, and pretty much every animated Disney film.

Favorite TV shows?
I love NCIS, The Big Bang Theory, CSI:NY, and Cake Boss!

Favorite golfer?
On the PGA Tour, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson are my favorite players. On the LPGA Tour, Nancy Lopez and Annika Sorenstam are my favorite.

Favorite club and why?
I have always loved putting, ever since I was little. My putter would have to be my favorite because it saves me a lot of strokes even if my swing is off.

Favorite thing to do besides golf?
I really like to read and watch movies. I also love to spend time with my friends.

What's on your iPod right now?
Gaither Vocal Band, Casting Crowns, David Phelps, Francesca Battistelli, Mark Lowry, and Michael Buble.

I first beat my dad in golf at the age of...?
I believe the first time I beat my dad was when I was 12.

What's your major and why?
I'm going in undecided. I still don't know what I want to be, so I plan on getting some of my gen ed credits out of the way so that I can find something that I love to do besides golf!

In 10 years, I will be...
I plan on either being on the LPGA Tour, or working at a job that I really love.

If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be...
Honestly, I really like living in Indiana. The weather is perfect in the summer and I love winter and snow, so Indiana is a great place for me to live.

If I could play any course in the world, it would be...
I would really love to play the Old Course at St. Andrews! I think it would be a fantastic trip and a great way to experience the history of the game.
