GETTING TO KNOW KELLY GRASSEL
When did you first start playing golf?
I started playing when I was a toddler, probably 3 years old, with one of those plastic clubs!
What course did you learn to play on?
My home course is Sand Creek country club in Chesterton, Ind. I've played there my whole life.
Favorite golf memory?
The last hole of my high school state championship. I stuck the flag and made the 6-inch putt for birdie. When I had finished my team came running over to me for a group hug and told me I won. It was an awesome feeling.
Best thing about playing golf at MSU is...
Being a part of this team, and being able to represent the school that I love.

The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, American Idol
Favorite club and why?
Driver without question. I hit it the best out of all my clubs, and I have the most confidence with it. It's just a really fun club for me to hit.

I love where I live now, my hometown of Chesterton. I'm also very excited about living at Michigan State. As for the future, I don't know exactly but probably a big city like Chicago or Washington D.C.
