GREENSBORO, N.C. - The No. 22 Michigan State women's golf team shot a 310 in the first round of the Bryan National Collegiate on Friday afternoon at Bryans Park Player Course.

The Spartans are tied for 14th on the leaderboard out of 17 teams in the competitive tournament that features 13 programs ranked in the Golfweek Top 50.

Junior Caroline Powers led MSU with a 3-over 75 (39-36) in the first round and is in a tie for 28th, while sophomore Allyssa Ferrell (40-38) and senior Lindsey Solberg (39-39) each carded a 78 and are tied for 52nd.

Red-shirt sophomore Liz Nagel rounded out the team scoring with a 79 (39-40).

Sophomore Christine Meier shot an 80 (35-45).
