Women's Golf Announces 2013-14 Schedule
Spartans will open the season with the 30th annual Mary Fossum Invitational Sept. 14-15 at Forest Akers West Golf Course.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State women's golf head coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll has announced the 2013-14 schedule for the upcoming season.
MSU starts off the season by hosting the 30th annual Mary Fossum Invitational Sept. 14-15 at Forest Akers West Golf Course in East Lansing. The Spartans have won their home tournament seven out of the past 10 years.
The following week, Michigan State heads to the Mason Rudolph Championship (Sept. 20-22) at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn., for the second straight season. The course hosted the 2012 NCAA Championships. MSU placed third out of 15 teams in the prestigious tournament last year.
In October, MSU heads to two familiar tournaments in North Carolina to wrap up the fall season. First up, the Spartans will play in the Tar Heel Invitational Oct. 11-13 in Chapel Hill, N.C., then the Landfall Tradition Oct. 25-27 in Wilmington, N.C.
The spring season starts Feb. 9-11 at the Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif., followed by the 14th annual Central District Invitational Feb. 17-18. The CDI will be held in a new location this year, as the tournament will be played in Sarasota, Fla., at the Cypress Course at Lakewood Ranch.
Michigan State's annual spring break trip is set for March 1-9 in Lecanto and Naples, Fla.
The Spartans return to tournament action March 28-30 for the Bryan National Collegiate in Greensboro, N.C.
MSU will travel to Athens, Ga., on April 4-6 for the Liz Murphey Intercollegiate at the University of Georgia Golf Course, site of the 2013 NCAA Championships. MSU will play in the Lady Buckeye Invitational April 19-20 at the Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio.
For the third consecutive year, the Big Ten Championships (April 25-27) will be held at the French Lick Resort in French Lick, Ind. The championships will be played this year on the Pete Dye Course.
The three sites for the NCAA Regionals on May 8-10 are located in Tallahassee, Fla. (East), Stillwater, Okla. (Central), and Cle Elum, Wash. (West).
The 2014 NCAA Championships are set for May 20-23 at the Tulsa Country Club in Tulsa, Okla.
