Michigan State's gymnastics team celebrated its 2015 season on Friday evening with the annual team banquet
Michigan State finished fourth with a 195.375 in the Iowa State Region
Sixty-eight Spartans student-athletes were recognized for having a 3.0 or better GPA.
Senior Alina Cartwright led the Spartans on vault, bars and beam at the 2015 Big Ten Championships
The Spartans won individual event titles on vault, bars, beam and floor in the Senior Night quad meet at Jenison Fieldhouse
2015: Named Academic All-Big Ten … Received Captains’ Award … Opened the 2015 season on bars at Iowa (1/18), scoring a career-high 9.750 ... Scored a 9.675 on beam against Minnesota (1/24) ... Made her season debut on floor at Towson, scoring a career-high 9.800.
2014: Competed in her first all-around vs. Western Michigan, tallying a 38.750 including a career best 9.825 to place second on balance beam and a career high of 9.550 on vault (Feb. 21)... Reached a career-high score of 9.750 on bars at the Big Ten Championships... Compiled a career high of 9.825 on beam against Western Michigan (Feb. 21)... Matched her career high of 9.775 on floor at the Texas Women's Tri-meet (Mar. 9).
2013: Tied for fifth on beam when facing Minnesota (Feb. 1) with a 9.725...Set a season-best of 9.800 on beam against Ohio State (Feb. 16)...Set a career-high of 9.725 on uneven bars against Michigan (March 2)...Marked a career-high of 9.775 on floor against Michigan (March 2) and Pittsburgh (March 8).
Prior to Michigan State:Graduated in from Grand Ledge High School...
