Lindsey Trainham is in her first season as a student coach for the Michigan State Spartans. She will assist the coaching staff and team during all practices and competitions. A three-year letterwinner (2000-02), Trainham medically disqualified from competition after injuring both her knees at a meet against George Washington in 2002. Until that day, Trainham had competed in 15 consecutive balance beam routines for MSU dating back to her sophomore season. During that season, Trainham was one of just two Spartans to compete in the all-around, posting a 38.850. A 2002 Academic All-Big Ten, Trainham is a kinesiology major at Michigan State. |
