The Michigan State gymnastics team will feature the student-athletes this season in attempt for fans to "Meet the Spartans". This week captain Taira Neal (Normal, Ill.) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions about her experience so far at MSU and her favorite things.

What do you want to be when you grow up: Lawyer or juvenile justice probation officer/social worker

Most exotic place you have traveled to: Costa Rica

Song that gets you pumped up before a meet: Nelly-heart of a champion and Eminem-till I collapse

Reason you picked MSU: I loved the campus and felt like home when I was here.

Favorite thing to do besides do gymnastics: Go shopping/watch movies

Favorite store to shop: H&M and urban outfitters

If you were not doing gymnastics, what other sport would you be involved with: Basketball or track

Favorite spot on campus: My apartment

Favorite competition at MSU: Anytime we go against Illinois


 

 

Pre-game ritual: Wake up around 10 make a light breakfast, do homework or clean to keep myself busy until about 1 o'clock. Pack my backpack for the meet and start doing my hair and make-up. At 3 leave I for the meet then I get taped and treatment while I listen to music.
