BEST SECOND-MEET SCORE EVER - MSUís 193.125 in its win at the Mizzou Gymnastics X-Treme on Jan. 16 was the best second-meet team score in school history, eclipsing the 193.050 the Spartans scored in a 193.900-193.050 loss to LSU on Jan. 17, 1997.
The 193.125 would have been the second-best score of the season in 1999. The Spartans, injury-ridden last year, have rebounded in 2000 and are currently averaging 191.875 as a team.
