Gymnastics Adds One for 2018-19 Season

Nov. 8, 2017

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State gymnastics head coach Mike Rowe announced Wednesday that the team will welcome one newcomer in the early signing period, Sydney Ewing. Ewing is a product of Allen High School out of Frisco, Texas and a member of the World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA).

“Sydney is a seventh year Level 10 with an amazing technical foundation, which has brought her continued success throughout her career at WOGA,” said Rowe. “We’re extremely fortunate to have Sydney joining us next fall, as she will definitely complement our lineup potential on all four events. The team fell in love with her, she’s a sweetheart with a killer smile and a personality to go along with it. To top it all off, she’s a great student as well. We feel Sydney and Michigan State are a great matchup and a win-win for all!”
