Academic All-Big Ten Honors Announced for the 2017 Fall Season

In all, 126 Spartans were recognized for having a 3.0 or higher GPA.


Spartans Earn First Conference Win Over Iowa, 3-2

2017: Played in 18 games, starting in 17 … Fourth on the team in assists with two … Fourth on the team in shots with 16 … Recorded at least one shot in 10 games … Posted a season-high four shots against Indiana (9/14) … Earned two assists in win against Iowa (10/1) for her first points of the season … Played a season-high 95 minutes against Maryland (10/21).

Named Freshman Player of the Week (Oct. 4) ... Played and started in all 18 games ... Third on the team in points with four goals and one assist for a total of nine points on the season ... Had two game winning goals and recorded seven corner kicks ... Netted a hat trick against Maryland (Sept. 29) scoring all three goals of the game, and pushing MSU to a 3-2 OT victory. 

Prior to MSU:
Named the 2015 Michigan Gatorade Player of the year ... Ranked No. 66 in the Top Drawer Soccer National Top 150 ... Scored 24 goals as a junior to lead Port Huron Northern to a tie for first place in the league ... Earned MVP honors and all-state second team recognition ... Scored 47 goals and was named the league MVP ... Three-time Port Huron Times Herald Girls Soccer Player of the Year ... Four-year letterwinner ... Carried a 4.0 GPA ... Member of the ODP State and Regional teams ... Participated in the Nike National ID2 camp in 2013-14 ... Earned two varsity letters in cross country.
