Women's Soccer Drops 2-1 Heartbreaker to No. 9 Wisconsin in Overtime

Cheslik netted the equalizing goal in the 84th minute to send the game to overtime.

2017: Named Second-Team All-Big Ten and United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Second Team … Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree … One of four captains for the season … Started in all 18 games and played a team-high 1,633 minutes … Led the team in points (18), goals (6) and game-winning goals (3) … Earned an assist and scored the game-winning goal against Samford (8/27) … Collected three points in win against Bowling Green (9/1) on a goal and assist … Netted the lone goal in win against Oakland (9/3) … Took a season-high seven shots against Indiana (9/14) and Nebraska (9/29) … Scored a goal against Purdue (9/17) … Found the equalizing goal in OT loss against No. 9 Wisconsin (9/21) … Netted the game-winning goal against Iowa (10/1) … Added an assist in win over Michigan (10/15).

2015: Tied for the team lead in assists (4) and shots (36) and started all 18 games...Scored the lone goal in double overtime draw at Oakland on Aug. 27...Picked up assists in wins over Dayton and Iowa...Had a career-high two assists in win over Michigan...Tallied the lone goal in win over No. 11 Minnesota on Oct. 15.

2014: Named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team...Finished second in the league in freshman scoring and tenth overall with eight goals...Led the team in goals and points...Scored her first career goal against SDSU (Aug. 23)...Scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win against Cal St. Fullerton (Aug. 24)...Scored a goal in the 89th minute to secure a 1-0 win at Oakland (Sept. 2).

Prior to MSU: Led Northville High School to an undefeated season and the Michigan High School State Championship as a senior, earning All-State, all-conference, all-region and all-district honors ... Scored the game-winning goal in the state championship game ... Named a conference scholar athlete as senior ... Earned second team All-State accolades as a junior at Northville ... As a member of the Michigan Hawks U17, she led the Elite Clubs National League, the top girls soccer club league in the nation, in goals with 15 while she was a junior.
