Two Women's Soccer Players Earn Academic All-America Honors

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Senior defender Andrea Sied (Livonia) and senior goalkeeper Stacy Heller (Madison, Wis.) were selected to the NSCAA/adidas 2003 Scholar All-American team for women's soccer. Sied earned a spot on the first team, while Heller was a second-team honoree.
Sied carries a 3.78 grade point average as a general business/pre-law major. She earned 2003 first-team All-Big Ten honors, recording six goals and one assist for a total of 13 points. Sied also earned third-team NSCAA All-Great Lakes region honors in 2003 and is a three-time All-Big Ten honoree in her career.
Heller earned second-team accolades with a 3.7 grade point average in telecommunications. She finished the season with a 1.10 goals against average, ranking second in the Big Ten with 110 saves en route to second-team All-Big Ten and third-team All-Great Lakes region honors. Heller finishes her MSU career as the all-time shutout leader with 21.5.
