EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Big Ten conference announced their 2013 All-Big Ten teams and individual honors for the women's soccer season on Tuesday. The Spartans' Mary Kathryn Fiebernitz and Kelsey Mullen both received recognition.
Defender Mary Kathryn Fiebernitz, who started 16 of 18 games this season, was named to the All-Big Ten second team. The redshirt sophomore picked up the team-best six goals on the season along with one assist for a total of 13 points, the second most on the squad.
Kelsey Mullen represented Michigan State for the Sportsmanship Award. Mullen started 14 games as the only senior on the team and helped the defense hold their opponents to only 26 goals on the season.
