1999: A GTE First-Team Academic All-American, one of four first-team honorees in program history...named to GTE Academic All-District IV first team...one of two players to appear in all 64 games...made a total of 63 starts, 39 as the designated hitter, 14 at catcher and 10 at third base...had a batting average of .244 with 42 hits...contributed 22 RBI and had 12 extra base hits, including four home runs...was second on the team with 15 sacrifices...hit .281 in Big Ten play...had 12 multiple-hit games and five multi-RBI contests...was 2-for-3 with two RBI, a homer and drew a pair of intentional walks in extra-inning win over Florida State (3/28)...was 3-for-3 with two RBI against Princeton (3/21)...an Academic All-Big Ten selection.
