Second Team NFCA All-Great Lakes Region selection ... Set a freshman record at MSU with 11 home runs in her first collegiate season, which ranks fifth in a single season at MSU ... Third on the team with a .328 average, with a .542 slugging percentage and adding five doubles ... Contributed 40 RBI, good for fourth on the team ... Compiled 16 multiple-hit games and her 10-game hitting streak late in the year was the second longest on the team all season ... Ranked ninth in the Big Ten with 11 homers the second most by a freshman in the Big Ten this season ... Opened her collegiate career with a 2-for-4 performance at the plate, including a home run, against North Florida (2/10) ... Earned her first start behind the plate against Troy, (2/11), going 2-for-3 with a sac fly ... Had another two-hit outing against NC State (2/11), with an RBI and nine putouts ... Attended Tulare Western High School in Tulare, California where she was a multi-sport athlete ... Lead her softball team to the 2015 East Yosemite League championship while being named conference MVP... Received the Mustang of the Year Award for most outstanding athlete her senior year and set the combined home run record that year as well ... A four-year letterwinner in basketball and earned two letters in volleyball ... Helped her basketball team to a section runner-up finish in 2014 ...

CLUB: Ranked No. 92 nationally by in the class of 2016 ... Played for coaches Joe Gron and Bob Perales of the San Jose Sting.

PERSONAL: Born June 23, 1998 ... Daughter of Rudy and Trisha Carrasco ... Mother played volleyball and softball at the College of Sequoias ... Has participated in many community outreach programs and annually serves as a counselor for Camp Sunshine Dreams, a camp for children with cancer ... Has an older sister, Kaitlyn, who attends Oklahoma and a younger brother, Connor ... Plans on majoring in Kinesiology.
