Victoria Morache begins her first season as the undergraduate assistant coach for the Spartan softball team. Morache spent two years playing for the Green and White, where she posted a team-high .317 batting average in 2005, helping to lead the Spartans to their second consecutive Big Ten postseason berth. Morache was also part of the team that captured the 2004 Big Ten Championship where she contributed a .245 average at the plate and a perfect 6-6 stolen base mark.
Prior to her time at MSU, Morache spent two seasons at Southern Colorado where she hit .411 (79-192) during her sophomore campaign garnering first-team All-RMAC and second team All-Region honors during both her freshman and sophomore seasons as well as being named RMAC Player of the Year in both 2002 and 2003.
Morache played for the Las Vegas Rage 16-under and 18-under gold teams, and will graduate in May of 2006 with a degree in kineseaology with cognat in pyhsical therapy. Morache also aspires to become a firefighter.
