Hit .228 for the season with 48 starts in 51 appearances for the Green and White... Posted 29 hits, seven doubles and 16 RBI during junior campaign... Made 25 starts at first base, two in left field, two in right field and made 19 starts as the designated player... Tallied a season-best three runs scored in the MSU victory over #16 Florida in season opener on Feb. 19 at the UNLV Rebel Tournament... Added two hits and three RBI with one homerun vs. the Gators... Posted six multi-hit games during junior campaign, including two hits vs. Miami (Ohio) in the regular season finale victory... Posted homeruns vs. #16 Florida (Feb. 19), Indiana (April 1), and vs. #1 Michigan in the opening round of the Big Ten Championship Tournament in Ann Arbor... Tallied two hits and two RBI vs. Indiana on April 1 leading MSU to an 8-0 victory... Managed multi-hit and multi-RBI effort four times in 2005; vs. #16 Florida (Feb. 19), Indiana (April 1), Ohio State (April 8), Miami (Ohio) (May 8)... Tied career-high with seven doubles for the year, including one in the March 5 tie vs. UCF... Stole only base of the season in the 4-3 victory over in-state rival Detroit on May 5... Went 2-3 with one double in the 4-2 victory vs. Wisconsin (April 16), added one RBI and two runs scored... Ended the season with a four game hitting streak, the longest of her junior campaign... Went 2-4 with two RBI in the 7-4 victory vs. Ohio State (April 9)... Hit .317 vs. Big Ten opponents starting all 16 games during the conference season... Tied for third on the team in home runs with five... 35 RBI rank second among returnees, and were third overall on the 2004 squad... Had nine multi-RBI games... Posted just two hitless outings in the first 22 games of the season... Posted the seventh-longest hitting streak in MSU history at 14 games (2/28-3/12)... Had home runs in back-to-back games at UNLV (2/21) and versus Stony Brook (2/27)... Posted a home run and three RBI twice, once at Loyola Marymount (3/12) and once against Robert Morris (3/20)... Went a perfect 3-for-3, scored two runs and had an RBI in the second game against Wisconsin (4/11)... Hit 3-for-4 with a run scored and three RBI, her third three RBI game of the season at Ohio State (4/17)... Recorded two RBI in a 3-0 victory over Purdue (4/23)... Scored two runs for the second time of the season and drove in a run with a 1-for-3 performance versus Eastern Michigan (4/28)... Went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the second game at Detroit (5/11)... Was 2-for-3 and drove in State's only two runs of the game in the Big Ten Tournament semi-final against Northwestern (5/15)... Was 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the Big Ten Championship game against Illinois (5/15)... Was a combined 7-for-12 (.583) and was named to the Region 8 All-Tournament Team at the NCAA Regional, where she also scored two runs and drove in six.

Was having a sensational rookie year before a knee injury cut her season short... Hit .308 with seven doubles, six home runs and 23 RBIs in just 32 games and 78 at bats... Slugged .679 and had a .421 on-base percentage... In eight Big Ten games, she hit .316 with four home runs, 10 RBI and a .947 slugging percentage... Big Ten Co-Player of the Week on March 31 after hitting three home runs, including a grand slam, and driving in seven of MSU's 12 runs during four games against Northwestern and Illinois... First injured right knee March 30 versus Illinois, then returned for four games at Penn State and Ohio State before suffering another injury in second game at Ohio State (4/20)... In her first at bat after the initial injury, slugged a home run to deep center field at Penn State... Hit the center field wall on the fly in her second at bat at Penn State... Had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs versus Temple (2/14)... Tripled, singled and drove in a run against San Diego (2/22)... First collegiate home run came against Maryland (3/7)... Homered in the first game at Miami (Ohio) (3/22).

Four-year letterwinner at Poly (Calif.) High School... Named All-CIF, all-league and all-county all four years of high school... League MVP and four-county Player of the Year as a junior and senior... Named an All-American as a junior... Hit near the .500 mark all four years of high school.

Club Softball
Played for national championship 12-Under ASA team (Firecrackers), and a 14, 16 ASA national championship team (USA Athletics), both coached by Robert Young and Thad Peterson... Played for Tyrone Davis for the Orange County Batbusters.

Born Aug. 7, 1983... Daughter of Thad and Diana Peterson... An interdisciplinary humanities major.
