2002: Started all 59 games, including 58 at shortstop and one at second base ... set school record for stolen bases in a season by swiping 28 bases in 34 attempts ... led the team with 33 runs scored and ranked second with 45 hits ... batted .296 for the season and .358 (19-53) with runners on base ... led the team with 90 assists ... had 11 multi-hit games and six games in which she scored mulitple runs ... went 3-for-4 and had a team season-best four runs scored in a 17-0 rout of IPFW (4/6) ... had a three-game stretch March 2-3 where she had seven hits and five runs scored, getting two hits each vs. Ohio and Pittsburgh and three vs. Missouri ... had two hits, two runs scored and three stolen bases in 11-4 win vs. Penn State (3/31) ... had two hits and three runs scored in an 11-2 victory at Indiana (4/7) ... had two hits, two stolen bases and a run scored in a 2-0 win vs. Eastern Michigan (4/4) ... Pre-MSU: Earned four letters under coach Veronica O’Brien at Chelsea High School…also lettered three times in basketball…captained the softball team as a senior and the basketball team as a junior…four-time softball all-district pick…earned all-league honors her last three seasons…named all-region as a senior…hit .455 in her senior year, notching 51 hits and 47 runs scored to go with 55 stolen bases…played ASA softball for Ann Arbor Gold (1995 and ’96)…team won state championship in ’95…also played for the Mt.
