Anyone interested in trying out for the 2009 Michigan State softball team must attend a mandatory informational meeting on Sept. 2, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Old College Field. Prior to that meeting, interested players must have registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center and completed the amateurism form, as well as obtain a physical signed by a physician.

Additionally, class schedules should be arranged to allow for free afternoons, from 2:30 p.m. until 6 p.m.

The actual tryout date is Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008 at 2:40 p.m.
