Softball Announces 2010 Fall Schedule

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State head softball coach Jacquie Joseph has announced her team's 2010 fall schedule. The Spartans will play five games during the fall, with every game being contested on the road. MSU's new softball stadium is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed prior to the start of the 2011 season. The Spartans begin their schedule in Ypsilanti, Mich., where they will face Eastern Michigan and Bowling Green on Sunday, Sept. 26. MSU first battles the Falcons at 12 p.m., followed by its game against the Eagles at 2 p.m. The following weekend, MSU will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich., to face Michigan on Friday, Oct. 1, for a game set to begin at 6 p.m. Two days later (Sunday, Oct. 3) the Green and White closes out its fall schedule with a doubleheader against Wayne State that begins at 12 p.m.
