Women's Tennis Announces Two for Class of 2013

Michigan State women's tennis head coach Simone Jardim announced two more student-athletes who will join the team this fall. Erin Faulkner (St. Raleigh, N.C.) and Anna Zelechonok (Northbrook, Ill.) will join two other incoming student-athletes, bringing the class to 4 newcomers.

Nicole Herzog Recognized by Big Ten

Michigan State women's tennis senior Nicole Herzog was named the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner for the team, as announced by the conference office.

Women's Tennis Falls at Big Ten Tournament

Michigan State women's tennis suffered a loss to No. 43 Illinois in the first round of the 2013 Big Ten Tournament on Thursday evening. The 12th-seeded Spartans fell 4-1, to the fifth-seeded Illini.

Women's Tennis Faces Illinois in Big Ten Tournament

Michigan State women's tennis is the No. 12 seed in the 2013 Big Ten Tournament. MSU (11-15, 1-10) will match up against No. 43 and fifth-seeded Illinois. The Spartans and Fighting Illini will face off at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, April 25 in Bloomington, Ind. The tournament is hosted by Indiana and matches will be held at the Indiana Varsity Tennis Courts.

Women's Tennis Suffers Loss to No. 43 Penn State

Michigan State women's tennis was edged, 4-3, by No. 43 Penn State in its final match of regular season. The Spartans finished conference season 1-10 and compiled an overall record of 11-15.
