2014 MSU Athletics Hall of Fame Class: Sue Selke

Sue Selke, who was on MSU's first women's official tennis team in 1972, won three consecutive Big Ten No. 1 singles championships from 1973-75 and helped lead the Spartans to back-to-back conference championships in '73-74. And now, she has been validated as a pioneer in women's athletics as Michigan State's first female tennis Hall-of-Famer.

Women's Tennis Finishes Strong at Spartan Invitational

The Michigan State women's tennis team started off strong Sunday for the second and final day of the 25th annual Auto-Owners Insurance Spartan Invitational. MSU finished the day with 12 victories and a total of 25 for the tournament. The Spartans found themselves atop of seven of the 11 flights of the tournament, winning at No. 1 singles, No. 2 singles, No. 3 singles, No. 5 singles, No. 6 singles, No. 3 doubles...

Women's Tennis Has Successful First Day at Spartan...

The rain and cold could do nothing to cool down the Spartan women's tennis team on the first day of the 25th annual Auto-Owners Insurance Spartan Invitational. MSU finished the day with a total of 13 victories.

Women's Tennis 25th Auto-Owners Insurance Spartan...

The Michigan State women's tennis team will begin its fall schedule Sept. 13-14 when it hosts the 25th-annual Auto-Owners Insurance Spartan Invitational. The tournament will be held at the MSU Outdoor Tennis Courts.

Faulkner Promoted to Women's Tennis Associate Head Coach

Michigan State women's tennis head coach Simone Jardim announced today that Tyler Faulkner has been promoted to Associate Head Coach. Faulkner has spent the last three seasons as an assistant coach on the Spartan staff.
