Coach Bauer's Comments:

"The combination of a huge heart and overflowing raw athletic talent make Keri perhaps the toughest competitor on an MSU team full of talent. Fearless in her desire to learn and improve Keri has pushed herself to add new elements to her game. Each day Keri figures out her own style more completely and becomes more effective in pressuring opponents.

"A very successful USTA junior, Keri's college career will prove to eclipse her past successes as Keri is committed to seeing how much she can improve. Few athletes learn as quickly as Keri and fewer are fearless enough to bring those new skills into an already existing game. Watch for Keri to succeed in huge upsets this spring as many players will not be able to handle the new attacking style she is crafting each day in practice. Keri can pressure opponents through overwhelming pace off of the ground.

"Keri's personality also can lift the team as she is becoming a leader both on and off of the court. To have such a tough competitor who also knows how to laugh and enjoy the game makes my coaching job a very easy one. I look for Keri to exceed everyone's expectations including her own. The unwavering ambition of a champion is Keri's strongest asset."
