Women's Tennis Blanked by No. 14 Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Michigan State women's tennis team fell to No. 14 Michigan, 7-0, in Ann Arbor in its conference opener. The Spartans are now 8-3 on the season. Michigan is the first opponent this season ranked in the top 15 for MSU. The Wolverines took every point in two sets in singles matches. Marina Bohrer dropped her record to 9-2 as she battled on court one against No. 33 Ronit Yuovsky, 6-2, 6-1, in singles play. Catherine Parenteau and Olga Chernova were defeated 6-3, 6-1 at the second and third spots respectively. Michigan State will next see action at Florida Atlantic on Wednesday, March 6, and at Florida International on Thursday, March 7. Results Singles Competition
