Women's Tennis Falls To No. 47 Virginia
March 15, 2013 MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Michigan State women's tennis team fell to No. 47 Virginia, 4-0, at day one of the Blue-Gray Tournament on Friday evening. The Spartans are now 10-4 on the season. The Cavaliers took the doubles point as Marina Bohrer and Catherine Parenteau fell at the No. 1 spot, 8-0, and Emily Meyers and Julianne Gruber dropped, 8-4. Virginia took singles points on courts two, three and six. The teams did not finish the competition after Virginia took the final winning point. The Spartans will face Pepperdine in day two of the Blue-Gray Tournament.
